What is the Happy Wand in ACNH?

Happy Wand is the Star Wand in Animal Crossing New Horizons. Yup, nothing different. The Star wand will basically help you change your outfits quickly, like magic! What you need to do is register outfits to your wand and then you can switch to them whenever you want.

How to Get the Happy Wand?

First, you need to obtain the crafting recipe from Celeste and the materials you require to craft the item are 1 Large Star Fragment and 3 Star Fragments. Head to a nearby workbench to use the items and craft the Happy Wand/Star Wand in ACNH. Now with that in your inventory, simply scroll to it and press A on your Switch to equip it. You can use it as many times as you want, because it is unbreakable.

Now, whenever you want to switch over to another outfit, whip out your happy wand and then select from your registered outfits. Note that you will not be able to change clothes while you have your outfit on. You need to actually revert to your original clothing to be able to change clothes again. If you don’t want to do this, you can simply drop the happy wand and the outfit will switch to your original clothes.

How to Register outfits on the wand?

  1. Interact with a closet or any type of cabinet that lets you change clothes.
  2. In the pop-up that appears, choose Edit Wand Outfits.
  3. Then, select a slot and choose Create Outfit.
  4. Once you have planned your outfit, give it a name.
  5. That’s all there is to it! This is a quick way to change up your look whenever you wish.
