    Remnant From the Ashes added an interesting twist to the Souls-like formula by focusing on guns and so is applicable even in its sequel. In Remnant 2, you have a variety of options when it comes to long-range guns, handguns, or even melee weapons. While having these many choices is nice, it can also be confusing to decide which you should use. So to help you out here are 3 tier lists focusing on the strongest weapons in each category ranked from best to worst.

    No matter if you are new to this game or a veteran, long guns are a go-to for most players. Not only do they offer a good range, but depending on the one you are using you even get strong firepower. These will be your primary weapon and you should use them for mid to long-range fights.

    Handguns are your secondary weapon and are good for when you want to take the fights up close against your enemies. These are needed when you are in sticky situations where you are out of ammo with your main gun, but can’t afford to reload. So just switch to them to continue the fight.

    If you are really looking to get the Dark Souls experience then you have to go with the melee weapons. But using the not-so-powerful ones can make the playthrough more painful than it has to. The weapons here have you covered no matter if you want damage strong enough to stagger your enemies or something for a longer range.
