    MediaTek Launches Helio G70 and G80 Chipsets To Boost Mobile Gaming

    MediaTek recently launched 12 nm Helio G70 and G80 chipsets, new affordable mid-range SoC’s in India. It is unconfirmed which smartphones will occupy the chipset designed to boost mobile gaming. Focusing on the affordable range devices liked Redmi Note 7 pro proved to the best of budget gaming phones in the market currently powered by Snapdragon 675 Octa-core.

    MediaTek 12 nm Helio G70 and G80 chipsets reported will bring the price further down along with adding more performance. It is still time we get more updates on the devices running on the chipset followed by its price range. Aimed for an affordable gaming smartphone, Mediatike had announced Helio G90 laster year and Redmi Note 8 Pro was the first device to own it.

    Helio G70 & G80 Octa Core are lower variants which will feature 2x Cortex-A75 and 6x Cortex-A55 cores. Compared to Helio G90, which utilizes 2x 2.05 GHz Cortex-A76 and 6x 2.0 GHz Cortex-A55 cores is ideal for QHD or 4K variants. While Helio G70 & G80 is primarily brought power for the affordable range of devices running lower 1080p resolution. The GPU and ram will be also be downgraded to keep the price under control.
