Twitch and Riot Games teamed up to bring the first major event focusing on the newly launched Valorant Game. The Twitch Rivals: VALORANT Launch Showdown features 8 Tournaments. Streamers, professional players, and others can take part in this 5-day gaming tournament.

There are in total 48 teams are taking part in Twitch Reveals Valorant showdown. Around 16 Teams are from North America divided into two groups and the other 32 teams are from European regions. They are divided into four groups. Overall 80 players are from the North American region and 160 from Europe. Only the top teams will be playing for a final face-off and there is no room for error. With over 16 teams in four groups will compete for $42000 regional prize pool. Best of the best will be on the group stage on June 6. Top teams from Group A and Group B will go live at 3 PM PDT / 6 PM EDT. Group C and Group D will shortly join them at 6 PM PDT / 9 PM EDT. For the Europe Region, part 1 (Group A & B), and part 2 (Group C & D) the total prize pool is $98,000. This will be divided into $49,000 for Part 1 and Part 2. Similar to the NA region the rounds of EU Part 1 starts on Friday, June 5 13:00 CEST / 4:00 AM PDT. EU 2 begins same day at 16:00 CEST / 7:00 AM PDT.
Playoffs will continue for two days and on Quarter Finals for EU group 1 will be at 13:00 CEST / 4:00 AM PDT. Later in the day EU group, 2 will compete at 16:00 CEST / 7:00 AM PDT. Finals are on the same day Sunday, June 7, 2020.
