If you are looking to change your server, then you must know how to transfer world save files in Soulmask. There could be several reasons why you might want to switch your provider. One of the basic issues could be you facing FPS drops, lags, or stutters. This can happen when the hosting PC doesn’t have enough resources to handle it. Or maybe if you were on a paid service you would like to try out a different option. Regardless of whatever the case might be, here is where you can find them:
You can find the necessary files in the following locations:
Thanks to Reddit user u/pedrotski for sharing these locations and the transfer method. You can check out their post here.
In case you can’t find them you should see if you have checked “Hidden Items” in the View tab of File Explorer. Now, simply press Windows + R on your keyboard and enter “%AppData%”. Now navigate to the above folders and you should find them.
Remember that you cannot do this from an online game to a dedicated server. The above solution only works for your local Steam save files. Lastly, if the game asks you to make a new character then you should check which Steam account you are using to play. User u/UndercoverStutterer had this issue when they switched their Steam accounts, you can check their comment here.
With that, you can easily transfer world saves between servers in Soulmask. Since you are interested in this game be sure to also check our guides for it on how to water plants, set up a dedicated server, and fill water troughs.
