Before taming NPCs in Soulmask, you must prepare bandages and liquid foods like Broth or Soup. Once you have those ready, here are the steps that you need to follow:

  • Since you want to grow your tribe, you can look for NPCs like Barbarians and Outcasts in the settlements and camps all over the map. Note that they are hostile and ready to attack you.
  • Once there, use your weapon to attack the NPC and drain their health to about 20 percent or less. After that, you need to hold “E” and click on the “deter” option to knock them unconscious.
  • Once they are down, you can approach the NPC and place the bandage in their inventory to stop the bleeding. You can also place the liquid food in their inventory and press “E” to feed the NPC.
  • Doing so will increase the Recognition meter. Once it reaches 500 or above, players can approach the NPC and press and hold “E” to see the Recruit option.

While you are adding more tribesmen, it is worth noting that improving the tribe’s mood is quite important. If you don’t know how to do so, our guide has covered everything you will need to know.

That’s all you will need to tame NPCs in Soulmask. If you found this guide helpful, check out our other Soulmask guides in our dedicated section while you are here at Gamer Tweak.
