How long are the OW2 queue times and is it fixed right now?
Overwatch 2 players have been hit with long queue times ranging from 300 players ahead of them to a whopping 20,000 players. This isn’t surprising, because the game moved from a paid game to a free-to-play model and got a huge wave of eager players right from day 1. This may lead you to ask – why are Overwatch 2 queues so long? How long does the OW 2 queue take and is it fixed right now? Here are the answers to your questions.
At the time of writing (two days after launch), these are the queue times for OW2.

There are a few reasons why the queues are so long:
You can change the OW2 server region to see if you are able to get into the server, but note that this may cause latency issues.
At the time of writing this article (6th October 2022), many players are still facing long queue times. But as the initial teething issues are fixed and servers are more stable, we can expect to see shorter and shorter wait times. Until then, you may also see login errors and connection failed error messages.
