Season 4 is about to hit PUBG and the developers have released a trailer to give a backstory as to how the death matches began and who is responsible for them
To announce Season 4 of PUBG Corp released a trailer which shows the backstory of the game, it is incredibly weird to be fair and does not tell you much except that a boy saw a war break out in Erangel and through the trauma he faced as a child is making hundreds of people into a deathmatch.
It is understood that survival is the key aspect of the battle royal games and the trailer hints towards that but the trailer itself does not make sense, to be honest witnessing a war is terrible enough but why would a victim of war grow up and relive those incidents, again and again, making people fight for survival.
We see Erangel change into what it is now, and this Season 4 will bring new changes to the Erangel map first on the PC and then consoles will get the update later on.
It seems like the child who is now orchastrating these death matches is looking out for survivors, if the champions of every matches get to play in a different mode then and only then would this trailer start making sense, but as of right now there aren’t any announcements or leaks about a new mode being made available.
PUBG is one of the most popular battle royale games currently in the market, it was the first game to popularize the Battle Royale gameplay mode and is available for PC, Xbox One, PS4, and mobile devices.
