COD Warzone 2.0 carry forwards the legacy of its predecessors along with some updated features. With improvised visual and graphic settings, the game easily draws the attention of the mass. Besides that, its wide range of weaponry with realistic effects makes the game more sensible. Rather than attacking, having a proper defense is also necessary while playing fast-paced multiplayer action. Like any other COD game, Warzone 2 does not have an automatic health regen feature. So, developers have added the traditional health pack feature to this game. In addition, while playing Warzone 2.0, a player gets extra protection against the enemy blows with the help of Plates. COD Warzone 2.0 Plates & Armor System Explained

The health bar is located in the bottom left corner of the screen. The two empty slots on top of the health bar is where you can place Plates in your Armor. Upon entering a map in Warzone 2, you will already be given that two-slot Armor Vest. However, it is possible to equip a three-slot Armor Vest if you find it later in the game. Also, in the initial stages after entering a match, you will easily find a level 1 or level 2 Plate. Although, you will eventually find a level 3 Plate to place in your Armor in Warzone 2.

Further, when you open your Inventory in the game, there are two sections, Loadout & Backpack. There are different slots for every piece of equipment in the Loadout section say Primary & Secondary Weapon, Throwables, Field Upgrades, etc. Out of which, one slot is occupied by the Plate in Warzone 2.0. An individual slot can carry up to 3x Plates in the Loadout at once. Whereas in the Backpack section, there are more than one slots wherein each slot can carry 3 Plates. As shown in the picture above, there are 5 slots in the Backpack, so it is possible to carry 15 Plates in the Backpack.
