Microsoft Will Announce Two New Xbox Consoles At E3 2019 – Report

Microsoft will release two new consoles in E32019 one focused on performance like Xbox One and other on digital services. Full specification leaked.

Microsoft is going to reveal two new Xbox consoles at E3 2019. The report is coming through popular French video game news website Jeuxvideo.com. Codename Scarlet Project came out last year through various leaks confirming Microsoft is working on a new Xbox console rumored as Xbox Next which also featured cloud streaming capability.

As per Jeuxvideo, Xbox 9th Generation console will be presented on E3 2019 and there will be two consoles under this. Codenamed as Lockhart and Anaconda, the two consoles will carry different features in terms of performance and online streaming.

Lockhart was reported to be entry level console with low performance a focus more on digital services will Anaconda will be a high-end model similar to Xbox One X. Tech specs leaked in the end of January are close to reality according to source, where both the machines will have SSDs on them.

Xbox Lockhart Specification:

  • CPU – Custom 8 Cores – 16 zen threads 2
  • GPU – Custom NAVI 4+ Teraflops
  • RAM – 12GB of GDDR6 memory
  • Storage – SSD 1TB NVMe 1 + GB/s

Xbox Anaconda Specification:

  • CPU – Custom 8 Cores – 16 zen threads 2
  • GPU – Custom NAVI 12+ Teraflops GPU
  • RAM – 16GB of GDDR6 memory
  • Storage – SSD 1TB NVMe 1 + GB/s

E3 2019 will take place in the month of June this year, Microsoft seems to be fully prepared to bring something new this time. The console actual release is scheduled at the end of 2020, with Halo Infinite coming with the machines.
