Pokemon Scarlet And Violet: How To Get Lucario (Location)

In Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, Lucario is a strong addition to your team. This Fighting/Steel dual-type Pokemon was introduced in Generation IV and quickly became a fan favorite. There are many new Pokemon present in this game. Because the map of Paldea is huge, it may be difficult to find your old favorites on it. Lucario Location in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

This Pokemon has a really low spawn rate so it may be a while before you encounter one. The North Province (Area One) is the best location to find Lucario in Scarlet and Violet. You will find it roaming around with a bunch of Riolus. To increase the chance of running into Lucario, you can use Encounter Power Fighting by eating Ham Sandwich. Other places you can find Lucario are:

• South Province (Area Two)
• South Province (Area Four)
• South Province (Area Six)
• Tera Raids
• Mass Outbreaks

You will find it between levels 45 to 65 so make sure you have Pokemon around the same level. Since, it’s a Steel-type, using Fire or Fighting-type moves will be effective. If you want to weaken it then use a Pokemon with a move called False Swipe. This will leave the wild Pokemon with at least 1 HP. But just knowing the location of Lucario won’t guarantee that you will catch it in Scarlet and Violet. Here’s a sure way to get your hands on this Pokemon.

How to Get Lucario by Evolving Riolu

Once you do get a Riolu, you can work on evolving it. The method of evolution is a bit different than most other Pokemon. Instead of leveling up, you have to increase your Friendship Level with Riolu. There are several ways to do it.

• Head to Mesagoza’s Delibird Present shop. There, look for an item called the Soothe Bell and give it to Riolu to hold. This will help you increase your friendship with Riolu faster.
• You can set up Picnics where you can bathe your Riolu to increase friendship.
• The “Let’s Go” feature allows your Pokemon to walk around with you in open areas.
