Lightsabers have been introduced in Fortnite which gives every player a chance to live out their Star Wars fantasy and duel it out Jedi style
Star Wars season is upon us and even though Fortnite hosted Star Wars The Rise of Skywalker director JJ Abrams in an exclusive event, it wasn’t all of it. Fortnite has introduced the lightsaber in the game for a limited time.
With so many players trying to log in at the same time, Fortnite services were down for a while, but all the players who logged in before 8 pm on December 15, 2019, got a free TIE fighter glider.
This new addition gives millions of players the ability to wield a lightsaber in Fortnite and take on their enemies in the biggest Battle Royale game of all time. You can check out the gameplay below.
What is gives is this unique ability to mix match previous Disney characters brough to Fortnite which means that you can be an Avenger with a lightsaber.
Fortnite is all about using your imagination to your benefit, and I believe that the lightsaber will certainly be one of the most used weapons until the event runs out.
As the week progresses, expect to see a lot of players duel it out with lightsabers in Fortnite and there will be a ton of content that will make it to social media websites.
