We’ve got you covered. These massive scythe-wielding enemies are tough to beat and they have a huge HP bar. But once you know their weaknesses, you can exploit them and defeat them.

How to Defeat and Kill Tormentors in Destiny 2

The Tormentors have a variety of attacks to obliterate you in mere seconds. They can use the Void and Light Suppress abilities to hit you. Moreover, if they grab you, they can one-hit you with their Dark Harvest ability while healing themselves. So the first step to defeating the Tormentors is to keep your distance. These are huge and bulky but they sure are fast and can quickly close the distance between you and them.

To kill the Tormentors in Destiny 2, you’ll have to hit the glowing yellow parts on their body. These yellow spots are their weaknesses and you can attack them to inflict heavy damage. At the start of the fight, the Tormentor’s shoulders are their weak points. Once you deplete their health to a certain level, the weak point will shift from their shoulders to their chest.

One of the best combos against them is to freeze them with the Stasis ability or a Riptide with the Chill Clip, and hit them with a rocket launcher. But make sure you don’t stay idle in one place. The stasis will freeze the Tormentor for mere seconds so use the hit-and-run strategy. Once their health is at its lowest, attack them with your “Super Ability” to finish them off.
