How To Play Gun Game In Modern Warfare 2 Season 2

This guide will tell you all the details you need to know about Gun Game in MW2 Season 2.

Call of Duty: MW2 got a lot of new content in Season 2 including new maps in Warzone and multiplayer, and new game modes like Bounty, Hardcore, Gun Game, etc. New guns and other weapons like Crossbow are also added which can be a part of Gun Game weapons. Let’s learn more about Gun Game in MW2.

How to play the new Gun Game mode in MW2 Season 2

Due to so many new modes like Gun Game, it’s not always the case that the mode will be available to play. This has happened before too and it’s done to not separate too many players into too many different playlists.

What is Gun Game?

Gun Game is a fan-favorite game mode that has been a staple in the CoD Community. It is one of those modes that is seen in almost every CoD title. In Gun Game, it’s a free-for-all. Everyone starts with the same weapon but every kill you get progresses you to the next weapon.

This weapon progression is based on the difficulty of the weapon. Starting with easy-to-use weapons, it goes up to the more difficult weapons. The progression has 30 different weapons, one for each kill, and usually ends with Knife or Ballistic Knife.

How to play Gun Game?

Unfortunately, as of now, Gun Game is not available to play despite being promised to be there on launch. “One of three party game modes launching in season, Gun Game is a competition of overall gun skill” was said in the official blog post. Our best guess is that since there is an abundance of modes right now, it will come later in this season.

Modes are often rotated in and out of available playlists and we will surely see Gun Game sometime soon. Many fans of this game mode are eagerly waiting for this to drop. So it is unlikely that Activision will make them wait for too long.
