How To Join Factions In New World?

Read this guide to learn how to join Factions in New World.

A Faction in New World exists in order to rule over the continent. The goals of these factions are to gain as much territory as possible in the game. The advantages of joining them are the fact that you will gain buffs whenever in their territories. This makes entering factions quite interesting. In this guide, we will show you how you can join them.

How to Join a Faction in New World?

In order to join a faction in New World, you will first need to be on level 10. Only after you reach this level will you find the option to be able to enter into a faction. To do so, you will first need to successfully complete all of the faction quests for each of the 3 leaders. After you do so, you will be able to choose which faction you wish to join.

You need to remember that once you pick your faction, you will only be able to change it after every 120 days. To do so, you will need to pay an Azoth fee. With that being said, you will not be allowed to switch to the strongest group by the game. You will also only be able to enter companies that are only in your faction.

Now that we know how to join a faction, let us check out the available ones in the game, and which one should you choose.

Which Faction should you choose?

There are three available factions in New World. They are:

  • The Covenant: This group aims to promote holiness and piousness. It attempts to do so by getting rid of heretics.
  • The Syndicate: The Syndicate is a secret organization. It aims to promote enlightenment with the help of forbidden knowledge and information.
  • The Marauders: The Marauders are a group that wishes to achieve freedom with the help of conquest. They are a military outfit.

Now that you know these three organizations and what they do, it’s time for the main question. Which one should you choose? When it comes down to this question, the answer depends completely on you. If you do choose to go ahead and join one of the bigger factions, you will have the ability to see if buffs actually make enough of a difference to your style of playing the game.

However, if you do wish to take on a challenge, you should try joining the smaller organizations. In doing so, you will notice that the missions have a much bigger purpose. For now, the strongest and most powerful faction in the game is The Syndicate. They are closely followed by the Covenant and Marauders, who are practically tied together in terms of strength.

So there you have it. This is how you can join a faction in New World. As you can see, the biggest prerequisite to do so is reaching level 10. Once you do so, you can easily choose the organization you wish to pledge your allegiance to. It is really that simple. Just keep in mind the fact that switching between these factions can be a costly affair, plus the game will probably not allow you to shift allegiances to a more powerful organization. Since this obstruction has been enforced with the aim of promoting a fair gameplay experience, you should not have to worry about it. Also, you do not need to spend too much time fretting about where you wish to join. The decision depends entirely upon your choices and preferences.

Titus D'souza

Nope, Titus isn't as serious as this picture implies. Began calling himself a gamer after burning his eyes out playing Road Rash as a kid. Somehow manages to get headshot in a game of Counter Strike even before a round begins. Oh, and he's also a photographer.
