WoW WotLK: How To Get The Headless Horseman Mount (Location)

The Hallow’s End event is here with an assortment of amazing rewards for you. Make the most of it because it is available from October 18th to November 1st. You will get to play several quests and earn achievements. One of the special Bosses available in this event is the Headless Horseman. In this article, we will tell you the location of the Headless Horseman in WoW WotLK, and how to defeat it to get the mount.

How to Get the Headless Horseman Mount (Location) in WoW WotLK

The Headless Horseman is an elite boss that can be summoned in the Scarlet Monastery Graveyard.

How to Get to the Scarlet Monastery

For Horde Members:

• Head to Dalaran
• Once you reach there, take the portal to the Undercity
• Go along the Northeast path out of the Undercity in Tirisfal Glades
• Go on and you will reach the Scarlet Monastery

For Alliance Members:

• Head over to the Southshore
• From there, go past Tarren Mill and follow the path leading to the Western Plaguelands through The Bulwark
• Ride alongside the mountains to reach the Tirisfald Glades

Once you reach the Scarlet Monastery, head over to the graveyard. There you will find a Pumpkin Shrine. Click on it and you will summon the Headless Horseman.

The Headless Horseman Fight in WoW WotLK

The Headless Horseman fight is not very difficult but can prove to be a challenge if you go unprepared. The fight is divided into three phases:

Phase 1

The Headless Horseman will engage whoever clicked on the shrine so we suggest that the Tank of your team should do it. Avoid its melee ability Cleave and you are good to go. When you deplete his health to 1%, the second phase starts.

Phase 2

In the second phase, he will detach its head and that will be your target. Watch out for its Whirlwind ability. Once you damage the head to 60% or when its body heals up to 100%, the third phase starts.

Phase 3

The Horseman will reattach its head and fight you himself. He will summon four Pulsing Pumpkins from which Pumpkin Fiends will arise. Focus on the Horseman and finish him off or you will have to face another wave of Pumpkin Fiends. They will die once the Horseman is defeated.

The Horseman will drop Loot-Filled Pumpkin which contains the following loot:

• Ring of Ghoulish Glee
• The Horseman’s Seal
• Wicked Witch’s Band
• The Horseman’s Baleful Blade
• The Horseman’s Horrific Helm
• The Horseman’s Reins
• Magic Broom
• Sinister Squashling
• Hallowed Helm
