The boss fight is a troublesome one and lasts over three phases in the game. No matter how troubling they are, it becomes easy to defeat the boss when you implement a strategy in this fight. And the strategy for this fight is quite clearly movement. While the difficult part of this fight is that the boss is inside the robotic mechanism, you will still be able to defeat him. During phase 1 of this boss fight, all you have to do is keep your distance from the boss and avoid his grenades. During this phase, the boss will be moving quite slowly and so it gives you time to move freely and circle behind the two cages there. However, be careful since he can fire grenades through the cages.
The boss will fire grenades in sets of three & once he sits down to reload, that is the time you have to attack. You will notice two pink sacs coming out of the sides and you have to aim for these. This is part 1 of defeating the Grenade Launcher Boss in Scorn. Once you fire them and the boss stumbles, use the time to reload or heal and repeat the process.
Phase 2 of this fight will start when the robot goes out of commission for a moment. Use this time to reload and heal and then once you are ready, go close to him and try to take his grenade launcher. The boss will knock you out and the second phase begins.
