To start the Gloom Borne Illness quest in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom (TotK), Head over to Kakariko Village. Here you have to find a woman who will be sitting near a hut by a fire. Talk to her; you will know her name is Lasil, and her grandmother is sick. She will also tell you about the porridge that her grandmother used to make and how that is the only thing that makes her feel better.

She will tell you the recipe for this porridge, which you will need to make. Except instead of Wild Greens, you will use Sundelions. To complete the Gloom Borne Illness quest in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom (TotK), here are all the things you need for this recipe and where you can find them:

  • Hylian Rice: Can be found in the East Wind store at Hateno Village. It can also sometimes be seen being sold by traveling merchants
  • Fresh Milk: Can be found at East Wind store and other general stores, including traveling merchants.
  • Sundelions: Can be found growing in the wild on Sky Islands.

Use at least one of each ingredient mentioned above, and it should make it into a dish called Sunny Veggie Porridge. Once you have these ingredients, cook the dish in a Portable Pot. Head back to Kakariko Village and give it to Lasil, and this should complete your quest.
