How To Get The Shotgun In Resident Evil 7

Here is how to get the Shotgun in Resident Evil 7.

The Shotgun has been a staple part of the Resident Evil series and it has again made an appearance again in Resident Evil 7 too. They are one of the most ruthless and entertaining guns to use on blood-thirsty zombies. But many players are struggling to understand how to get the shotgun in Resident Evil 7. If you’re one of them, then this step-by-step guide will help you out.

How To Find the Scorpion Key

First and foremost, you will need the Scorpion key to open Grandma’s room, more on that later. After you take care of Jack during the early stages of the game, whether that’s by killing him or running away from him, head downstairs into the basement. Follow the door that leads to the incinerator room. Here, you will find the Scorpion Key lying near the bag of meat in the middle of the room. Pick it up and retrace your steps back.

How to Find the Shotgun in Resident Evil 7

To get the Shotgun in Resident Evil 7, you will have to head over to Grandma’s room. And you guessed it right, the Scorpion Key will help unlock it. The room is located upstairs in the upper level of the main house. The entrance to the door is right next to the staircase of the house. Once you unlock the door, loot the entire room. You will then find the Broken Shotgun as well. Yes, this is a broken version of the shotgun. You will have to replace it with a real Shotgun which is located south of the Main Hall.

You will see the Real Shotgun on a statue but as soon as you take it from the statue’s hands, the door behind you will close. The simple trick to get the Shotgun is by replacing the Real Shotgun with the Broken Shotgun you just picked up.

That’s all it takes to get the Shotgun in Resident Evil 7. If this guide managed to help you, then stay tuned for similar ones on our Gamer Tweak page.
