Season 3 is expected to be released in the last quarter of 2024. This new season holds an interesting plot and unexpected twists. Season 1 has in total of 24 Episodes, the first one was aired on July 28, 2019. The last episode went live on Feb 2, 2020. Captain Burns & Shinra face each other at the end of this season. During the combat, Captain Burns shared a brutal truth with Shinra regarding the fire accident that occurred during his birth. Shinra learns that he was the cause of the fire, not his mother. In order to protect Shinra from the Evangelical warriors, Burns lied to him for 12 years. This leaves Shinra with a lot of questions related to his legacy, his birth, where is Sho, and his mother. Most of this was concluded in Season 2.
Season 2 also has 24 Episodes, the story continues after S1E24, and in S2E25 life goes to normal. Shinra is determined to find a way to turn Infernals back into normal human beings and in the process, he digs into the mystery of Evangelist and the Adolla Bursts. Company 8 is back in action, they continue their journey against the Infernals until the final episodes bring in some shocking twists and turns. In the finale of Season 2, Shinra and Auther continue with their training to the point of unlocking extraordinary strength. Shinra during the process experiences Adolla Link where he was to see his Mothers’s, Sho’s, and Hauge’s death. The finale concludes Company 8 and his ally’s war against the Evangelist. The Knights of the Ashen Flame are almost on the verge of attacking the Tokyo Empire.
Based on several leaks, the main cast will remain the same. To be precise Company 8 will be going through a hard time in Season 3. As they are all up against the Evangelist Warriors, they will be declared as terrorists based on the En’en no Shobotai Manga. Captain Oubi will also be held captive, and now it relies on the heroes to free their allies and bring down the enemies. Fire Force Season 3 is still in production so there is not much to reveal. The story of Shinra Kusakabe is not over, there are still many unanswered questions. Hopefully, Season 3 will take fans deeper into the life of Shinra and reveal more about his past life and connections.
