Shotguns are best for close combat only. Using them in a fight where enemies are far away would be risky. Weapon in this category bring sheer power, but they are low on ammo, has high recoil, and are somewhat less useful due to re-load time. Expedite 12 unlocks early in COD MW2. It is a shotgun and with the right set of attachments, it throws enemies off-ground.
The objective of this loadout is to improve movement. Reduce hip recoil and boost some damage. There will be a boost in the fire rate and offer better mobility. Also, keep some good melee weapons in your inventory. In case you are short on ammo, your melee weapon remains the next best choice.
The entire load is boosting more weapon damage. Like the12 Guage Dragon’s Breath ammo can damage enemies from long range. For perks add Double Time, Overkill, Fast Hands, Quick Fix, Frag, and Stun Grenades to the list. Double Time will boost your speed and also allow you to carry one more primary weapon. You can add a long-range assault rifle, in incase a shotgun is good enough in some situations. So switching the weapon at the right time will help you to stay longer in the match.
Shotguns in nature are slow weapons, they have low fire rates. And it also carries a slow reload animation. This can a little risky, but when it comes to damage, it is hard for anyone to get away if falls in the range of shotgun fire. In simple words, there is less scope for mistakes when you are running around using a shotgun.
