While players are used to getting match-by-match updates on their ranks and divisions, that won’t be the case in the sequel. Blizzard are hoping that this change brings in consistency to upgrade skills while in the match.
To first determine the rank and division you will be put in, you will either have to win five matches or lose fifteen matches. These will determine where you will be ranked for the first time and then these will be how you go up or fall down in your rank.
