It’s the strongest enemy in the game right now (the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/gamertweak.com\/dead-rails-tesla-lab-guide\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Nikola Tesla boss<\/a><\/strong> is a werewolf as well) and they are huge creatures who are fast too. Here’s how to deal with this enemy type.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-how-to-fight-a-werewolf-in-dead-rails\">How to Fight a Werewolf in Dead Rails<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>To defeat a Werewolf, you need a <a href=\"https:\/\/gamertweak.com\/how-to-get-weapons-in-dead-rails\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Rifle or a Shotgun<\/a>.<\/strong> Both can be purchased at the Gunsmith for $75 or $50 respectively. Make sure to buy ammo as well. When you see a Werewolf approaching, use your gun to deal damage because melee weapons will not be useful in this case. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The enemy has high HP and will easily kill your character, so make sure to get headshots from a distance. You will have to keep shooting at least 6 times to defeat it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">When do Werewolves spawn?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Werewolves can spawn during a Clear Full moon night event (indicated by a big moon with no visible clouds) so when you start hearing some howling, it’s best to stay alert and ready with weapons. In case you are waiting at a Fort for the night, keep an eye out for them because they can infiltrate the interior. It can also appear as a pack with wolves nearby, so if you’re playing solo, you may need items that cause AoE damage like the Molotov and Holy Water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In case you’re stuck in a train for the night, place some Newspapers to block the driver’s seat and use other <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/gamertweak.com\/how-to-upgrade-train-in-dead-rails\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">defensive items like Barbed Wire<\/a><\/strong>, Sheet Metal and Crucifix to deter them from boarding the train.
