Seething Opals are a new addition to Diablo 4’s Season 6 called Season of Hatred Rising and while they may look like gems at first glance, they are actually elixirs that give you a temporary boost. Here’s how you can get and use these Opals to make your build more powerful.

There are 5 types of Seething Opals, with one type only for owners of the Vessel of Hatred expansion. The ones available to all players are – Seething Opals of Equipment, Gold, Materials, and Torment. The one with Socketables is for the players who have the expansion.

Their names are quite self-explanatory but there are some details you need to know. Some elements common in all Opals are that the effects last for 30 minutes, kills accumulate Reputation with the Zakarum Remnants, and you gain 15% increased XP.

The difference is that enemies drop more Equipment or Gold or Herbs + Crafting Materials, or Gem Fragments + Runes (Socketables). The Torment variant drops more Artificer’s Stones and sometimes drops Boss Summoning Items or Infernal Compasses. You can only get the Seething Opal of Torment if you’re playing in any Torment Difficulty.

How to Get Seething Opals in Diablo 4?
