Tekken 8 not only has 32 playable fighters but also several different modes that you can try aside from the story. While you can always practice against CPU to get better at your main, things can often feel boring with it. But what if there was an option to fight against yourself? That’s exactly where the super ghost battle mode of Tekken 8 comes in. After you unlock it you can fight not only yourself but also the ghosts of other players or even CPUs. So here is how this mode works.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You need to complete the first chapter in the Arcade quest. This should be fairly straightforward as you select your avatar and complete various events. During these events, Max works as your guide and walks you through the basic tutorials and how you can fight other players. Finally, you have to participate in a 16-player tournament. After you win, the mode becomes available to you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How Super Ghost Battle Mode Works<\/h3>\n\n\n

There are three types of ghosts that you can fight in this mode. In this mode, the AI creates ghosts after analyzing the player or opponent’s movesets. It learns your attack styles and habits and accordingly creates a ghost. The ghost then copies the same habits it learned from the players to fight in a similar fashion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you are looking to fight your own ghost, then you need to have at least 3 fights against the CPU for the AI to learn. Aside from that there are other ghosts that you can download and fight or some already existing CPU ghosts. Here are all the options available to you:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Your Ghost: <\/strong>The ghost mimics and fights like the characters from your matches.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Downloaded Ghost: <\/strong>You can download and fight the ghosts of other random players online or your friends.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • CPU Ghost: <\/strong>In the Super Ghost Battle mode room you can find several NPCs hanging around. You can fight any of their ghosts to train. You have fighters available in different ranks like Fighter, Strategist, Combatant, Warrior, and more.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
