While GTA 5 mobile isn’t an official reality yet, it is finally playable on Android via emulation, as shared by a Reddit user (Thanks, Exputer). Here’s a video shared by Luis Gaming Test which shows GTA V with 25-30fps/Snapdragon 870 on the Poco F3. As you’ll see, it runs pretty smoothly. For those who want to run GTA 5 at 40-50FPS, this is how it looks with Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2.

All of this is made possible due to Mobox Esync. For those who are unaware, “Mobox Esync” refers to a combination of two things: Mobox, a mobile game emulator, and esync, a technology used to improve emulator performance. Its results can vary depending on the emulated game, your hardware, and your network connection.

This is a big leap in the Android emulation progress because GTA 5 is a graphically and resource-intensive game. Even high-end PCs struggle to run it smoothly at max settings. This is why emulating GTA V for a smartphone or tablet is/was a complex task.

Do keep in mind that using emulators to play mobile games can be considered against the terms of service of some games or even illegal in certain regions. Be sure to check the specific game’s terms before using Mobox Esync.

Moreover, setting up and configuring Mobox Esync can be technically challenging for non-experienced users. It involves installing additional software, configuring specific settings, and potentially rooting your device which is why many shy away from it.

If you don’t want to go through this process for GTA 5 mobile or don’t wish to risk the legality of it, there are other ways to play GTA games on Mobile. Recently, Netflix has added them as part of their subscription for gaming.

It’s available to all tiers so you can subscribe to your preferred tier and get started with Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition. This includes the Definitive Editions of GTA 3, GTA Vice City, and GTA San Andreas. All you need for it to work is an active subscription and the Netflix app on your phone or tablet.

Apart from this, there are more GTA games officially optimized by Rockstar Games for mobile users like Gangstar Vegas, GTA: Chinatown Wars, GTA: Liberty City Stories, and more. Plus, you can use Xbox Cloud Gaming to stream the GTA 5 you own on the console to your Android device and have your own version of GTA 5 mobile.

[1165,2
37,63
0":"post-294164","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-gta-online","8":"category-news","9":"tag-android","10":"tag-tips-and-tricks

GTA 5 Mobile Made Possible by Emulation
