The rope is one of the many items you’ll encounter during your adventure in Baldur’s Gate 3. Players may come across ropes in their inventory and think of creative ways to implement them for exploration or combat, as in a Dungeons & Dragons campaign. However, the use of a rope is currently very limited<\/strong>. Here’s what you need to know about using rope.<\/p>\n

The primary use of a rope\u00a0is throwing it in BG3 (Baldur’s Gate 3)<\/strong>. To do this, select the rope in your inventory and click on the ground or object you wish to throw it at. The rope will unfurl in a straight line between your character and the target.<\/p>\n

This allows you to potentially obstruct vents, buttons, levers, or other interactive objects by draping the rope over them. However, rope only blocks and does not permanently disable these objects. Enemies can simply remove the rope<\/strong> if they wish.<\/p>\n
