The Soundboard in Discord is a feature that will let you react to messages in the voice channel of your server via sound effects of quacking, airhorn, crickets, sad horn or claps. In case this is getting annoying, you can disable it – this is how to mute the soundboard in Discord.<\/p>\n

How to Mute Soundboard in Discord<\/h2>\n

Follow these simple steps to disable the soundboard so that you don’t have to hear the annoying sounds on the server.<\/p>\n

  1. Click on the Gear icon<\/strong> next to your username. This will take you to User Settings.<\/li>\n
  2. From the options on the left, click on Voice & Video<\/strong> under App Settings.<\/li>\n
  3. Right under the Mic Test section, you will see the Soundboard section<\/strong> and a slider<\/strong> to control its volume. Reduce it to zero<\/strong> and go back to your server.<\/li>\n
  4. Join the voice channel and click on the Open Soundboard button<\/strong> and click on the sounds. You should not be able to hear them anymore.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
