While it took almost <strong>three years<\/strong> for the developers to <em>completely bake<\/em> this one, <em>the Force is too strong with this one<\/em>. What makes it more interesting is both of these games are canon to the main universe. But as players see a bearded and weary-looking Cal Kestis, they are quite confused about the game’s timeline. Not to worry, here’s where you can find out if Star Wars Jedi Survivor is a sequel to Fallen Order or not.<\/p>\n<h2>Is Star Wars Jedi Survivor a Sequel to Fallen Order<\/h2>\n<p>The answer to that question is <strong>Yes<\/strong>. The upcoming Jedi Survivor is a <strong>direct sequel<\/strong> to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. The Star Wars Jedi Survivor will be set <strong>five years<\/strong> after the events of <strong>Fallen Order<\/strong>. It will follow Cal Kestis and his saga to revive the mythic Jedi Order. Respawn Entertainment has confirmed that its timeline is set for the year <strong>9 BBY<\/strong>. Since it is canon to the <strong>Star Wars timeline<\/strong>, it is also five years after the events of <strong>Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith<\/strong>. <em>So, that makes Jedi Survivor 10 years after the events of Order 66.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>But similar to Jedi Fallen Order, will it be open-world? Scroll till the end to find out.<\/p>\n<h3>Is Jedi Survivor Open-World<\/h3>\n<p>From the trailers, it’s pretty clear that Jedi Survivor features an open-world landscape with some <strong>new gameplay elements<\/strong>. Similar to the previous installment, we are about to get lots of <strong>Star Wars-themed cinematic combat<\/strong>. Along with Cal, his buddy droid <strong>BD-1<\/strong> will also be returning for the adventure. So, it will be exciting to see more of this unknown character. We also get several snippets of the cutscenes from the trailers. As confirmed by Respawn, several new <strong>gameplay mechanics<\/strong> have also been added to Jedi Survivor. Furthermore, the game will also feature additional <strong>lightsaber combat styles<\/strong> and <strong>new Force techniques<\/strong>.
