Minecraft is possibly the most life-like adaptation of a game albeit in a pixelated manner (probably how my bespectacled friends view the world :p). Anyhoo, with such a life-like experience you are bound to come across villages and their inhabitants. These villagers are essential as they help out with your tasks and provide you with various commodities. They are an essential part of the game and are important to your character’s development. Here is how you can increase the population of a village and increase your workforce.
Breeding and Mating Villagers in Minecraft
Fancy being the Love Guru? Well, it is overall a pretty easy process, for you at least. Since you don’t have to do the deed yourself the only part where you will be getting your hands dirty is in the construction process. You will need to build a house with three beds, two for the couple and one for the baby. Also, you need to make sure that the house has at least one door. If you do decide to not build a house you can simply choose one from the ones in the village and make sure they fulfill the requirements.
Another scandalous thing you will have to do is leave food for the couple. This seems very weird but is part of the process. You can choose between either 3 loaves of bread, 12 carrots, 12 beetroots, or 12 potatoes. This game just gave a whole new meaning to breaking the bread, or should I say breaking the bed (sorry, not sorry).
Now we move on to the actual process. You have to lure in two villagers into the new honeymoon suite. All that is left to do now is for you to leave the room and let the magic begin. The villagers won’t try to escape as they know what they have got themselves into. Now just figure out what you can do for 20 minutes as that entire process takes that long. You can return and find a cute little baby villager waiting for you. If you want to be an absent parent, you can again figure out how to spend 20 more minutes and you will be greeted by an adult villager when you’re back.
