Mithral Ore is quite rare to find in Baldur’s Gate 3 and players will have to head to a specific location in the Underdark. BG3 Mithral Ore Location Guide

For the Mithral Ore, players will have to head to Grymforge in the Underdark region of Baldur’s Gate 3. Currently, there are two Mithral Veins that players can break to farm Mithral Ore in BG3. Mithral Vein is one of the standouts in this location so it should not take you long to identify the dark grey and shining blue rock. If you are looking for the Mithral Vein location in Baldur’s Gate 3, here’s what you do:

  • To reach the first one, head directly south of the Ancient Forge waypoint. Drop down the cliffside and jump over a river of lava to reach the first Mithral Vein. Do note that at this point, players will find some minions and will have to fight them.
  • The other Mithral Vein can be reached by taking a left off the staircase leading down to the forge itself, directly after you’ve jumped over the gap.

While it is quite easy to get Mithral Veins in BG3, there are a few enemies that you will have to look out for. Once you have the Mithral Ore mined, you can fire up the Adamantine Forge and use it to Forge unique items.
