The next in the Assassin's Creed series (the 13th in the entire franchise) could be releasing very soon, as per a leak on Reddit.
In this installment set in Baghdad, we will see the story of Basim. And it seems like we will get to experience it earlier this year, than what was expected.
An anonymous GameStop Employee posted a picture from his PC at work showing that the target release date is August 2023. At this point, there's no confirmation from Ubisoft and all of this is just speculation.
In the Reddit thread, there's another comment from an ex-employee, where they say that "this game changed its date like three times."
While this may be the intended release date, it could get pushed due to changes during the development of the game.
As per another comment on Reddit , the placeholder release date for Assassin's Creed Mirage was 12/31/23.
Will there be a big reveal and an official announcement around June for AC Mirage? Only time will tell. For now, gamers are hoping that these rumors and leaks turn out to be true.
